ABOUT

Christos Vourlis is a Paris-based hair artist working in the fashion industry. His sculptural style is characterised by distressed geometry, theatricality and fluidity. He draws inspiration from landscapes, cityscapes and Athens / Berlin partyscapes. Under the sound of Dark Synth & Tech vibes, he captures moments on and off set with his camera.

EXPERIENCE

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Christos has memories of hair, acting as a visual and haptic stimulation since childhood. Beginning his career in 2007, he works in Athenian salons and soon jumps to assisting notable hair artists, such as Nicolas Villiotis and Stefanos Vasilakis. During that time, he got exposed to extremely diverse clientele which helped him establish a durable and flexible skillset, proving to be invaluable for his future career.

In 2010, Christos grows to session hair stylist working independently for show-biz & fashion and soon moves to Paris to assist famous hair artists at a new global level. In 2017, he joins Calliste agency and later on Bryant Artists, as a session hair artist. He is now represented by Paris-based Artists Unit and Athens-based 10AM.

Christos holds a diploma in hair design and has been further trained by Wella Professionals, L’Oreal & Sebastian Pro. He has mastered his cutting and colouring skills at the Vidal Sassoon Academy London.
